Worthy of Good Things
You are Not Undeserving of Good things:
I need to preach at you a moment in bold letters:
YOU ARE NOT UNDESERVING OF GOOD THINGS.
There is a complicated nuance to determine the difference between unworthy and undeserving. On the one hand, we don’t deserve anything and on the other, we aren’t unworthy of good things.
You can ask God for good things. You can ask God for smart things. You can ask Him for whatever you want and whatever you need. Sometimes He says yes and sometimes He says no. If we believe that God is our creator and we are able to co-create with Him then there’s nothing that’s out of reach to ask for. When we ask for good things we’re latching on to part of our destiny to create good things.
You are not unworthy of being found. Your education does not yield credit to your brilliance. Your life experience does not discount the value you bring to the table. In life, it’s easy to take hold of the naysaying. I constantly want to be accepted by people who are damn sure going to reject me, discredit me, or undervalue my role as a human being. Their desire to discredit me and you - it stems from their belief system and has no reflection on the true value you bring to this earth. Education, though important, is not the gold standard for personal value or intelligence.
On this side of things, I know that I don’t have to give in to doubt. I don’t have to give in to someone else’s belief system. The same goes for you. You are valuable because you exist and it is not above you to ask for or pursue good things.
If someone has tried to rain on your parade and a seed of self-doubt creeps in I want you to do the following:
- Send that train of thought back to hell where it came from and walk as the light dweller Jesus meant for you to be.
- Then put your hand over your heart and temple and repeat the following: I am smart, I am skilled and capable of manifesting a life worthy of my calling, I belong in THIS space in THIS time. Jesus appointed me to be here.
Babes, you are more than welcome to sit at a table of good things. Maybe your good thing looks like a plate of perfectly prepared salmon and brut. If it is - let’s be friends.
